I am Jillian Bratcher! I am a photographer servicing Southern California and Arizona!
First off, I LOVE people. It's awesome to work with unique individual's and bring out each of their personality's through their portraits. I love to travel to random locations to get the feel you are looking for. Where do I draw my inspiration from?
Everything. What I am feeling for that moment, how the customer interacts with me, the lighting, the weather, colors and the textures around me and music and fellow photographers! Have I always had an interest in photography? I started photography in 10th grade at Chandler High. I entered into it because my boyfriend at the time loved it so much and adored the teacher Mrs. Skousen that I had to try this creative outlet. After joining in, meeting her and getting to know how a camera works I was hooked. It was the best way for me to communicate my feelings through my work. When people get to know me, they find out that I am very extroverted, loud, talkative and out there. In high school I wasn't really able to explore working with people through my projects, so I primarily shot “abstract work” with film. This work here is what I call my treasure chest, I don’t often share it with anyone but I am working on a site to display it :D! When I got out of high school and finally decided to add my work (people shoots) to Facebook I gained a following and started getting requests for my work. When this happened and I gained confidence, I truly realized how much I love to shoot photography and work with people. I got to use my skill with my camera and my skill with my extroverted, loud, talkative and out there self. If you shoot with me, you will see! Want to know more about me?
